Here at athomewithcoop we’ve been focused on building a community of farmers, and consumers that all believe in the same thing. Sustainable produce that helps community, helps the environment and leads to a greater planet overall.
Over the years we’ve seen a lot of things change, and with the COVID-19 situation a lot of product supply chains have unfortunately broken. How has this influenced us? It is difficult to say. Most of our relationships have been formed over the years of hard work and dedication.
We often get asked if COVID-19 has affected our business, but in most part it hasn’t. We’ve seen some farmers have to cut back the production of certain crops for next year in anticipation for the continual growth of the coronavirus. We hope this isn’t the scenario for long.
We’ve also formed new partnerships this year and have focused on building more sustainable relationships not just through our food but through business and writing. We’ve partnered up with the people at healthfitmag, to write a bunch of articles that will be coming in the following months.
If you’re a long-term reader of our blogs and have shopped at our stores before you will understand the significance of community for us. We have deep roots in small towns where everybody is a known member of the community.
We wouldn’t stop doing it this way if we wanted to. This is the best way that we believe in building a sustainable business. Going to the place that needs it the most and providing them with a service or a product that always goes above and beyond.
That is what we like to believe is our secret and what we hope will convince you to become a member of our stores!
Over the next few months, we have really great things planned. We will be starting a great new initiative to help children of Vancouver island with coronavirus relief.
We will be donating books and meals to all the kids that haven’t been able to properly be fed or go to school when they were supposed to be attending school. We hope that this initiative helps out in the community even in the slightest.
Our belief that happiness comes from within and is fostered through the growth of so sustainable missions within a community is a thought that keeps us motivated to do our jobs every day. We hope you feel the same way about our mission and keep supporting us over time!
See you guys soon!
